There is no official rate: each inspection body sets its own prices. In 2026, a periodic inspection of a single-family home in French-speaking Switzerland typically costs between CHF 350 and CHF 600 including VAT, more for apartment buildings and commercial premises. What affects the price
The size of the installation (number of panels, circuits, units), the type of property (residential, commercial, agricultural, industrial), the travel distance, and the number of visits needed if defects have to be checked.

What the price includes
Travel, inspection and measurements, the measurement report, the safety report and its submission to the grid operator, as well as the list of any defects found. Defect corrections are billed separately by the contractor of your choice.
Hidden fees to watch for
Uncapped hourly billing, travel fees added after the fact, a second visit charged at the same price as the first. On OIBT pro, the price is fixed before booking, and a follow-up visit to validate corrections is offered at a reduced rate known in advance.
Prepayment and security
